![]() Future beagler and Grandpa. Great week-end at the field trial. Three new Field Champions. Congratulations to Chuck Kolling Jr. & Sr. for finishing FC Going Light Shine and FC Battle Ridge Swaps and to Greg Berkshire for finishing FC Yellow Creek Crow Jane. Way to go guys! There were 99 entries in all: 33 in the 15″ Bitches with judges Nick Petrovich Jr. and Frank Shawver, 23 in the 15″ Dogs with judges Roger Wilken and Bob Trent, 14 in the 13″ Dogs with judges Tim McKnight and Don Hamer and 29 in the 13″ Bitches with judges John Lunn and Joe Swearingen. ![]() FC CHB Osage Blue Ripper I finished Rip at Northern West Virginia on August 29, 2009. Sad thing is I didn’t realize at the time he was finished. It was his third win (46 dogs in the 15″ class) but I thought he was a couple of points shy of being finished. When we got home from the trial we started adding up the points and then realized he was finished with 120.08 points. 3 wins under 6 different judges, 2 thirds, 3 fourths and 3 NBQ. Rip has been one of the best SPO dogs I have ever owned. Handles nicely, good in the kennel. An all around nice dog to have. I can’t count the number of rabbits he has provided for our supper table. He’s a medium to high speed, head down, good nose, chop-mouth, straight up the middle dog. He’s a nice looking blue-tick hound. If interested in breeding and for more info call me at 740-544-5377.
